It has 3” of stretch (TC Bros hardtail section) and stock rake.

Are you using the original XS forks (lowered?)

It has stock forks and setup at the original height. Hope to have the carbs re-jetted this weekend and get it down on the ground and see what we have.

What did you do to get the pedal kick on this bike?

Cut the orignal kicker off and welded a nut in its place. Got a harley kick pedal off ebay, had to change out the stock harley pedal bolt to a shorter one.

It's almost exactly what I envision for mine. Excellent work. Forward controls in the future?
Did you have TC Bros do the cut and weld or buy the tail and do it yourself? I can't weld yet but have a neighbor that's a pro. If you did it was it straightforward? If TC Bro's did how were they to deal with? Thinking Tail kit, square bat box, forward controls from TC. Stock forks just like you have. Haven't decided on drag bars or mini apes. No front brake huh? You got Steel Cohones! Awesome bike.

Thanks for the compliment. Going to keep the center mounted pegs, I just like that tucked in ride position better. Sent the frame to TC Bros, they do good work and I have not complaints. Just one warning thought, they don’t weld the upper and lower back frame supports. Be sure when you weld them in that you but something between the axle supports to keep the correct distance. By the way I have a battier box from TC that I didn’t use, it’s for sale $45.00 + shipping. (No mounting straps) No front brakes…the only way to fly!!!
