Also, did you powder coat the jugs or use a high temp paint? They look really clean and I can't decide which way to go on mine. jbob

Bike runs really strong, it only had 14,000 original mile when I got it so motor was in good shape.
The raisers are 2" Harley raisers, I had to drill out the rubber mounting bushing and buy some handle bar shims from a bicycle shop to make the 7/8" bars fit the raisers that were set up for 1" bars.

What did you use to polish the covers on your bike? They look almost chrome plated they are polished so good. Also, how are the shims holding up on the bars? I assume they are simple rubber shims from the bike shop.
With the POR-15 engine paint, it looks like the kit comes with a few brushes. Did you brush yours on or spray it? If you brushed it can you see the brush marks? Did you need to break down much of the motor or just mask off the parts you didn't want painted?

It took some time to get the covers cleaned up. Polished them using a lot of steel wool & Mothers chrome polish. As for the shims they are aluminum & they have worked great.
On the PRO-15, I used the cleaner it came with which you need to cover or take off any aluminum parts. Then I just tape off the parts I didn't want paint on. I did use a brush & it does show some brush marks, but not bad.

Your bike looks great. Are those the original size tires? Your gas tank and rear fender look familiar. Can you tell me where you got them? Are they from Cole Foster?
Love the look!

Thanks for the compliment. Tire size on back is a 130/90-16 & front is a 100/90-19. Gas tank is a Cole Foster which I got off eBay and rear fender is a hand spun replica of 30 model ford spare tire cover. Got the rear fender from a guy out of Ohio I believe. Sorry but my home computer is down and as soon I get it back up I'll get you some more info on the rear fender.
