Thanks for the info. I just have a couple more questions though. I was thinking about putting that same tank on my bike, but I wasn't sure how it would look. You answered that question for me. Thank you. I was concerned about the depth of the tunnel, but yours looks fine. Did you have to modify the tank at all?
And my last question, for now. What brand of tires are you running?
Thanks

The tank worked out pretty easy, only advise is make sure you mount the tank high enough to get the wiring under it. The tires are Ching Shing (Marquis). If you have an more question just let me know. Thanks

Hello nonic,
I had another question about the tank. Do you remember which model tank you bought? I've seen them in the Custom Chrome catalog listed like this: #600155 - Fits Evo Softails #600157 - Fits Twin Cam 88 Softails #600154 - Fits Sportsters
I'm not familiar with the mounting of each and was hoping you could tell me which one you started with. I thought you probably had to modify the mounting a bit, but if you remembered which one you started with it might make it a little easier for me.
Thanks again

Here's an updated pictures of my son on DBLE TROUBLE. This was taken at an old parts store out in West Texas.

Thanks

Here is what I have on the rear fender, which I'm pretty sure I got it off ebay. All I have is the email address. scrapemetalart@yahoo.com. Spec on the fender is rib 1" wide & the fender is 5 1/4" wide 29" long. Hope this helps.

Have you had any trouble with the foot pegs moving on ya? Can you stand up on them? It seems if ya put to much weight on them they would just spin down on the frame.

Actually that work pretty good. But I did end up change them out do to the fact when you used the kick starter it would hit the pegs. So I fabed up some that bolted to the frame and out of the way of the kick starter.

It's been awhile since I last posted to you. Slowly but surely I'm moving forward with my project. Could you tell me what petcock you used on the tank? It would be most helpful.
