Yes, I used that. Unfortunately, I'm not sure it was a snug enough, has since shifted, and there's not a lot I can do to fix it without spending money (pretty much broke right now). See...I'm using two sets of adapters. One inner, one outer (to make use of 1-3/4" Harley Sportster mufflers). The inner was stupidly left free-floating and the outer is welded to the outer header wall. The outer is a good 5" longer than the inner (to let the muffler clear the frame), so if the inner has slid back, it's going to be VERY difficult to get it lined back up with the inner header tube. It all seemed like a good solution at the time..... But to get back on topic, I'm not experiencing popping, I can just tell that the headers leak at the bleed holes (the header wrap up there is exhaust-soot black). I was wondering if an exhaust leak like that can cause my creeping throttle.

Mat I have an older set of original headers that I installed the adapter and welded it into the pipe. I am going to jet hot coat the whole system. Tony C
