All i did was put the bike in gear, step on the brake, and use my torque wrench to remove th nut. Did the same to put it back on. Regards, Rourk

Can anyone tell me what size socket is required to remove the Hub Nut? I have the Spacer and Roller bearing from MikesXS and want to install it. Has anyone done this mod and been satisfied the clutch drag has improved? Dusty

I don't remember the size of the nut, but I do remember I was unable to get the correct socket at a couple of auto supply stores in my area - they had one size smaller and one size larger. To best of my recollection, I used a 30MM socket with a slice of aluminum from a beer can as a reducer inside the socket. It worked fine. I guess that might make the correct socket 29MM.
I did not notice a reduction in clutch drag with the new bearing.
The metal clutch plates are stamped out. Edges on one side are sharp; the other side rounded. When I reassembled mine, I installed the metal plates so that the rounded edges of the plates face toward the outside. When oriented that way, clutch disengagement is easier.
As long as you have the clutch apart anyway, you might want to add tension to the clip on that #4 starting gear. I did that on three of our 650s and it really improves the engagement when starting electrically.
