Where did you get the rectifier?
Never mind. I see the other post.

Where did you get the rectifier? Never mind. I see the other post. here are the part numbers from Digi-Key. Rectifier 36MT10-ND heat sink V766Y. I had to do some trimming on one fin to fit the rectifier. It's hard to see in the photo but if you look closely at the left side you can see the middle is cut out of the inside fin. . Easy job with my little battery powered dremel. I also ordered another heat sink as I wasn't sure which one I was going to use. That one is square (35mm) with straight fins 642-45AB.

Picked these up off the local CL recently. I was looking for caliper and disc so I could put twins up front. Got those and the seller asked if I was interested in the tank, side covers, and mufflers. I wasn't really looking for those but he wanted them to go to a good home and wasn't get much response from his ad. The stuff was pretty decent shape and the price was right so I took them. It's off of a 76 but now I can change the look now and then by swapping out a few parts.

Wow! That's really nice! I think I have seen an XS650C up close and personal, maybe one time, that I can think of. Based on what I have seen, the '75 model was very popular, as was the '77. I don't know why, but but is popular usually follows what was popular. Just the same, I find the '76 color scheme pleasing to the eye. I like the look of the pipes better than the earlier model as well.
Your B is going to need company in the garage. I think you need to find a C to put under those tins!

Your B is going to need company in the garage. I think you need to find a C to put under those tins! I think I may have to settle for having the 75 masquerade as a 76 now and then by parts swapping. Three bikes now with another two coming this spring. A free 77 Honda GL1000 and a one owner 72 Suzuki T500 Titan that has been stored for 30 years. A little excited about the Titan....the GL not as much, the only thing more expensive than a cheap bike is a free bike. Not sure how I will squeeze them all in.

No doubt those early model 650's were the best looking. Great job on the restore.
