1975 xs650 TCbros hardtail with forward controls. DNA 2 under springer with 4" risers and 4" z bars. 21" harley front wheel. Waiting on my tank as I had to return the last cause it did not fit right. I have the PAMCO high power kit for it. Just need to wire and a little cleaning/touch up and should be riding in 2 weeks.

I am starting a hardtail build now. I have softtail chrome spoke rear wheel with disk. It looks nice. Where did you get the Dana? Was it hard to adapt to the bike?

Got the DNA from ebay for $385 shipped. Was easy to adapt. Just cut about 10mm from locking nut (I actually had someone cut it with a lathe to get it right and flush) because steering stem is too short and use 1" steering neck bearings from auto parts store for $6 each.

Nice. Thanks for the info. I really want to get a springer on this one. It will pull off the look I am working towards. I like your 21" front too. Since I am running the softail rear wheel maybe a HD front will go nicely too.

louisvan: trix13 - I had a problem with my 1975 SX650. When I got to highway speeds, the engine lost power. The problem was in the connectors. At a certain vibration and the wind pushing on the wiring loom, the connector lost continuity. A bad crimp to the wire. May 20, 2021 1:19:09 GMT -5
