I was just wondering if you could powder coat all the valve tappet covers and other chrome covers on the head of the engine, I have never had anything powdercoated but I really like some of the options out there and polishing is just not doing it for me. Would that change the thickness of the metal and make them not sit properly?

I've done it on mine - yellow ... yea whole bike is yeller ... Anyway ... Dont do the inside. Hot oil has the ability to remove powdercoat - eventually and you dont want it in the oil. That's it. The bearing surface is an O ring and hence its going to have to be scraped off id coated but otherwise its fine. I'd just do the outside anyway. Cool. Srinath.

yes, you can powder anything metal as long as you protect the mating surfaces and threads etc etc, exhaust can be powdered with the high heat powders, but your limited to to high heat black and high heat satin silver. Timothy

Nice work, Tim - that lace is impressive, as is some of the other stuff.

Nice work, Tim - that lace is impressive, as is some of the other stuff. Thank you sir, I appreciate that. I like to think I have taken the powder industry to the next level with some of the methods I am introducing. Timothy
