Hey guys,
I was wondering if I could use a compound to polish 4 coats of rattle can. Would wax do it? It just seems like I can't get the finish perfectly smooth with the rattle can. Any suggestions?

Be sure to let the paint offgas for 8-12 weeks before you use compound, as the wax will seal the paint and gasses will bubble it later. There's more than one way to skin this cat, but I wet sand first with 2000 grit polishing paper, then hand rub with fine compound, and finish with a very fine polish like Safe Cut from The Wax Shop.

Thanks griz. I'm in no hurry to polish it. Just hoping that there are options. Because I'm done putting more coats on.
