Sorry to bother, but I have looked around quite a bit and have not found a diagram that works. I just need, headlight, tail light w/brake, pamco ign and charging system. Should I run one big fuse? I coulc cut down the original harness I suppose, but wanted to use new wire. can anyone help?

You need to tell what year your engine is. Different years have different charging system wiring.

Pete, thanks for the diagram. I have a couple questions though. I am not sure what the "power outlet" is with a 10 amp fuse is. And does the switched power for the fuse box have to come off the regulator?

Also if I don't use the horn or accesory what about the brown wire from the reg/rec to the fuse box?

The power outlet is a place to plug in your heated underwear. Or your battery charger. The brown wire from the fuse box feeds power to the voltage regulator and brushes. You need this power, no power on brown wire=no charge. The switched power doesn't come off the reg/rec, it comes from the battery. After the bike starts and the alternator starts making power it feeds it back to the battery.

The 10 amp fuse that feeds the Pamco ignition could be a 7.5 amp fuse, Pete reccomends a 7.5 to protect his ignition.
