I'm installing my pamco today. I found this between the old coils: You can see the plate for holding the old coils below it. What is it and do I need to remove it? The wires go back into the same harness as the ignition wires. Can't find it in any manuals I have. Should I just leave it alone? (silver cannister with black top, says "Nipondenso" on it)

It's your turn signal relay. Should leave it, it makes your blinkers go "blink" "blink" "blink"

AHA!
Thank you. And that probably needs to be replaced. Turn signals don't go blinky blinky no more...

Not to jack the thread in another direction, but do you have LED bulbs? The stock incandescents are a higher resistance than LEDs and if you do have LEDs, the stock flasher relay doesn't sense the load and won't create the blink. Just replace it with an aftermarket two or three prong one from any autoparts store.

A two prong flasher. I don't think the tree prong will work. It may take a few tries to get the right flasher for LED's. When you replace the flasher it plugs in where the stock flasher goes. Just besure it plugs in where the brown and brown/white wires are. Ignore the black or green/yellow.
