Just got my XS back together. Took it out this morning and it popped the fuse going to the ignition switch. Puled over and discovered that the ground on the battery was loose. Tighten, stuck in a new fuse and away I went. Ran for about another 5-6 miles and popped another. Now every time I replace the fuse, the moment I turn on the switch the fuse blows. I checked my ground and it appears solid. Any ideas??

A fuse blows because of an overload situation. A short to ground is the usual culprit. To find it on your bike you need to start at the switch and trace the power flow. You might get lucky and find it by looking for a chafed wire. A wire rubs somewhere and wears through the insulation and shorts to ground. Pinching a wire under a bolt, something like that.
