So I replaced the stock speedo/idiot lights with one from Mikes XS, that has the indicator lights in the face of the new speedo. But now I'm having trouble figureing out how to connect them to the stock wiring harness. Anyone have any diagrams or tips?

Just got mine wired up and finally functioning a couple days ago. The turn signals were a major stumbling block for me, but here's the thread that covers my trials & tribulations. Ignore my diagrams, and go with what PamcoPete suggested to me throughout. xs650temp.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=light&action=display&thread=16490You will need diodes from Radio Shack as shown in the thread, and a bunch of bullet connectors (the type sold by MikesXS and others). Or you can use what the auto parts store sells, but I hate that kind of connector with the plastic insulation... I like to crimp and solder connections, especially when dealing with fine guage wire as found on the mike's guages. The other issue I had was the aftermarket turn signals... I made the wrong assumption about which wire was the ground, so double check your signals, if you are using aftermarket. The only other thing I did for ease of wiring, which some may disagree on, is that I bundled several of the ground wires from the guage together to plug into one ground connection. I think you'll run out of available ground points in the stock harness, otherwise. Good luck. It isn't that hard if you don't wear your a$$ for a hat, like I was doning throughout the process

Sweet, thanks for the reply. I'll give it another shot here before I pawn it off onto someone for pay haha. Now I just need to find a good doctor as I think my a$$ has been permanatly sewn to my head.
