Well I have been trying to trouble the intermitant miss that I am still getting. I removed the gas tank and drained it. Removed the petcock and cleaned it and the tank. Put it all back together and filled it up with gas. I had the petcock on and was doing some other stuff at the same time. I went to start the bike and smelled gas. The gasket in the petcock wasn"t seated properly and was leaking gas every where. Figures I just filled it up. I should have just put in a little gas to test it. Had to remove tank and drain it again to fix it. Got it right now. I was getting ahead of myself a little.
I love cleaning up gas spills.

LOL. Havent done that one, but have had so many other Oops moments. Now, when I'm working on my bike, I stop and think... "OK, how do I avoid doing the next stupid trick of the week?" I get so little time to work on my ride that I tend to rush through things.... which is deadly. I dropped in my alternator mod stuff today and had to fiddle with wire routing a whole lot longer than I wanted to. When I reached my stupid trick of the week moment, I shifted over to installing my pamco ignition. Funny how just shifting gears can shake off the stupid.... Lookin forward to putting in some miles with my Maryland folk.  |

Sounds like progress happening. Good. No don't rush.
Been riding some. Still test riding waiting to see if problems are cleared up. Hope so. Talk soon.
Get back to work.
