Well I have been trying to trouble the intermitant miss that I am still getting. I removed the gas tank and drained it. Removed the petcock and cleaned it and the tank. Put it all back together and filled it up with gas. I had the petcock on and was doing some other stuff at the same time. I went to start the bike and smelled gas. The gasket in the petcock wasn"t seated properly and was leaking gas every where. Figures I just filled it up. I should have just put in a little gas to test it. Had to remove tank and drain it again to fix it. Got it right now. I was getting ahead of myself a little. I love cleaning up gas spills.

LOL. Havent done that one, but have had so many other Oops moments. Now, when I'm working on my bike, I stop and think... "OK, how do I avoid doing the next stupid trick of the week?" I get so little time to work on my ride that I tend to rush through things.... which is deadly. I dropped in my alternator mod stuff today and had to fiddle with wire routing a whole lot longer than I wanted to. When I reached my stupid trick of the week moment, I shifted over to installing my pamco ignition. Funny how just shifting gears can shake off the stupid.... Lookin forward to putting in some miles with my Maryland folk.

Sounds like progress happening. Good. No don't rush. Been riding some. Still test riding waiting to see if problems are cleared up. Hope so. Talk soon. Get back to work.
