:oGlad I saw this post. I have a 1981 XS650SH and a buddy make me a CD of the 1974 manual and I have the supplements. But...how do you determine what supplement goes with what year et, etc, etc.? I usually feel like I can undetstand and dedipher the written word but I'm missing something.
After plugging along for 3 or 4 years I'm determined to get this Yam running by this summer.

Use the model code, The letters after the xs650. As in B,C,D,E Those indicate the years. 75 is B, 76 is C and so on. The S indicates that it's a Special.
With your bike the SH indicates it's an 81 Special. All 81's are H's

I have the E book and all the suppliments up to the G/SG. I only need to down load the H/SH. How can I get just that one.

I don't think you can. It's all one large PDF. It's a small download though, only about 6mb. You could get just the G/SG supplement from biker.net.

I have been referencing this for others to find them. When you try the download it says the are invalid or deleted.
