I'm debating getting TNK fork tubes, emulators, and springs from Race Tech. Does anyone know if there are lower sliders for 35mm forks that can accommodate Brembo style calipers? I know there is the Pandemonium Brake Kit 35mm for XS650, but if there is already a dual lower sliders that I can swap in, it would be even better.

See if you can find fishhead brakes. This fellow put together super brake kits using modern large diameter rotors and modern calipers. I googled it, www.geocities.ws/fischervintagecycle/Fischheads.htmlThe 270° crank will have a rough firing order at low rpm but probably a bit more traction under power. Tom

Thanks, I totally forgot about this guy. He did a Hydraulic clutch for me once, but I ended up selling it for another setup.

I had to sell this project before it came to fruition a few years ago but I'm back! I just purchased a 1977 Yamaha XS650 frame with a title and I will start from scratch. I'm aiming for a poor man's XS650 version of this bike with a different color scheme. I'll be looking for someone that can make a set of dual high pipes for me. I'm thinking of having them ceramic coated so as not to burn my legs. I still would like to use a Kawasaki W650 gas tank, but I'm not sure if it is worth the trouble to make it fit:
