Wonder if anyone has tried these shocks. I was always partial to Koni shocks on my MXers back in the 70s and I wonder how these stack up. Now where ware the Poppy Bodies..... www.ikonsuspensionusa.com/servlet/Detail?no=22Thanks, Gary

From some of what I have heard Koni got out of making shocks, A different company bought up all the parts and started building them into shocks. They called them Ikon. Once the old stock of parts ran out they started making new parts. The quality is as good as the Koni's. Leo

I have a set on my bike and they suit me. An Australian fim sells them. They used to distribute the Koni motorcycle shocks and when Koni got out of that buisness this company licensed the right to continue making/distributin them under their own name. My understanding is that they bought the original tooling from KONI, but they do not say anything about that on their current "about us" web page www.ikonsuspension.com/content/the_ikon_suspension_story.shtml.

Hi Guys & Gals, Yes the Icon shocks are very good value for money, I use them on my bike, a 75 model. I don't know what you pay for them in the US but down here in Australia they are about $440.oo. They are made here on the tooling that came from Koni when they got out of them. You can rebuild them and spare parts if needed are available, different springs, bushes. I will run them on my next bike for sure unless someone one wants to donate me a set of Ohlins, only joking. Anyway I think they are top rate shocks. Thanks john.

I have Konis on practically all my bikes and have used them for years. I never bought new ones, just used ones and rebuilt them if needed.
