I would like to put a damper on my forks but not sure how to mount it. Like the one sold by Mikes. Does anyone have any pictures of how they are mounted? I do not want to buy one without have any idea how ti install it.

That type of damper requires two brackets. One end of the damper mounts on a bracket that fits around a fork tube. There are two types of bracket for the other end of the damper. One type installs with a cam lock inserted in the bottom of the steering stem, and the other type fastens around a front frame tube.
Before you install a steering damper, be aware that it's designed solely for the purpose of damping "head shake"--basically, a hard twitch of the steering head that can occur when the front wheel reacts to sudden dips or bumps when the bike is heeled over deep in a turn. It's not a fix for other steering or stability issues, and can actually make things worse.
