Hope im in the rite section to post this! I have a 79 XS650 Special and Im looking for different types of emblems. Yes Ive seen MikesXS but Im looking for more. Anyone?

What kind of emblems are you looking for? All kinds of ideas out there. I took a JPEG of the original Triumph script, changed the letters and have a very cool Yamaha ... got a local decal maker to do it in nice shiny "chrome" gold and you have to look twice at it to realize it doesn't say Triumph....

Brucedeuce, I wish I could help out now but this isn't my area of expertise. I have seen different Yamaha and XS650 emblems at different places but no where do I remember a combined source. 650central has some and Omar's dirt track racing is worth looking also. Norm hasa a good idea also. I have a red CT-70 that is plated. It is a silly little bike to ride on the street and a friend made up large Ferrari emblems out of vinyl at his work. Take something special to a sign shop and ask if they can make it. If you search out some good ones, make a folder and you will be the emblem guy. ;^)

i hear you, and i did not intend to be arrogant.
I actually do that when i look for things ( new tires, cables, spokes, tanks),,,
and click on the links that take you to wherever.
I should of stated that.
( and often a cut and paste link, may change in context and thus i mentioned that )
I saw many emblems, and suppliers for emblem, (in the mix of other images) so i thought is was worth the try.
I was dead wrong to to use the word, new website, in my attempt to be funny, and for that, i am sorry.
And we all were wrong, to not welcome or say hi to a new-bee, and allow a few days to go by before any of us said one word, and by then, it was too late, Bruce had left the forum.
I read his other post, before it was deleted.

Hey roto36. Thanks for that link to the decals. I have been wanting to repaint my 75 but just hated to give up those gold decals. Now I can have the tank and side covers repainted and still have the cool stock decals.
