Has anyone ever replaced the nylon bushings in the lower fork tubes. If so, where did you get the replacement bushing from? How do you remove the old one, and install the new bushing.

Also, the damper rod has a nylon wear band. Does anyone know where to get those.

I would imagine that a commercial bearing supplier would have a suitable replacement if I knew what the dimensions were. Does anyone know the sizes of the bushings and wear bands?

Thanks Machi for the links.

I liked the to the link second site, it is very interesting, quite an archive of different models.

Mike XS is a great site. I've bought several items from them in the past.

It seems as Yamaha does not show either of the parts in their diagrams, and that is why I ask if anyone has ever replaced them.

I have a little play in the right fork tube, May not be anything to worry about, but since I have the forks apart, I thought maybe I could change the bushings and wear bands.
