I'm trying to put an SH back on the road. The turn signal wiring in the headlight shell is connected as advertised. The right rear flasher is supposed to connect to a DARK GREEN wire according to the SH wiring diagram in the service manual supplement. There is no DARK GREEN wire back there. Do any of you already know the solution to this?

On the SH I have the wiring to the rear comes up under the seat in a black rubber boot. There is a large bundle that goes to the tail/brake light. There are several individual wires. A blue and black for the plate light. A chocolate or dark brown goes to the left turn, a green wire that is not as dark as the green that plugs into it from ther right turn signal. And blacks for ground. I think maybe thyeyu used a lighter green in the rear because they ran out of dark green. As long as you have a green wire in there try plugging the turn wire to it. Leo

Marty - Mamma Yama put so many dark colour wires in that headlight bucket that they are almost impossible to tell one dark colour wire from the next. You may have to get out the 3-cell Maglight to light them up enough to tell the difference. I know I had to...... Also - maybe a little alcohol or some other light solvent to clean them off some of the grime that builds up may help identify them, too.

Thanks Norm. I'm going home tomorrow, so I can get back on that. I may even have to chase them with a meter.
