Well I was coming home from work and got in an accident last yesterday evening. Back roads of Howard Co. Cruising at about 45 or 50 following two SUV's that were moving along at good rate of speed for the back roads. I was not tailgating either. The road kind of Y's and we were all going to the right when the lady in front of me abruptly stopped in the middle of the intersection to turn around. I skidded about 20 to 25ft and maneuvered the bike to the left a little to avoid ramming into the rear of the SUV. I hit the side of the SUV and put a 3ft scratch down the side with my bar end mirror. As I was leaning against the side of the car she was winding down the window and I started yelling at her "what the hell are you doing?" But then I moved me and the bike and got off to talk to her. She was very concerned and sorry. We looked at damage. She said the scratch would buff out. I was in a little bit of shock. I tried to give her insurance info but she said no. We left the scene. I thought after that, that scratch will not buff out. I took the paint right off with the scratch. I'm fine, bikes fine. Thanks for listening.
