I put one of these on my bike last week. It was brighter. I went on about 100 mile ride. Got home and brake light was not working. I took it out, put my ole 3year old incandesant bulb in. It still working after 200 miles. So has anyone had I problem with these?

I don't have any experience with the Mike's LEDs but had a similar experience with incandescent bulbs. My turn signals were burning out once or twice a week. After going through a half dozen new bulbs I went to the junk yard and got some old bulbs. That was like six or seven years ago and I haven't had a bulb burn out since. I suspect the newer bulbs aren't made to handle the vibration these old bikes put out.

The light is the replacement for 1157 bulbs. The package says Champs HYPERBULB. Made in Taiwan. Part number 44-1157A-24R. I looked closely at the bulb and it has a small crack in it now.

10-E Too much rough gravel riding on that bike..... I have one mikesxs bulb which still works, which i took out of my bike, as the amp draw is so low, the red light on dash, says brake light is out. Switched back to old style, like Mr Riggs. Riding time will be back soon, as the days are now getting longer after Sunday !!! preston
