Has anyone had experience with using Pro-1 racing Engine builder?

I was originally toying with the idea of saving up and getting the XS650 Performance Package including a replica of the AMA National race winning cylinder head from the '70s by Harry Lilli:
replica of the AMA National race winning cylinder head from Complete, with replica guides, valves & valve job - $1700. Then having Crankworks do a 270 degree rephase, and megacycle rephase camshaft.
Then having a local motorcycle shop put it together for me. I'm pretty mechanically disinclined and would not be able to do this by myself.
I was wondering how the Pro-1 Racing Engine build would stack up to having a local shop build it after having the a replica Lilli head and 270 rephase parts done?
BTW I had some work done by Hugh's Handbuilt but I see he is still not taking any engines at this point.
