I got my 75 up and running and with the valves at .004 and .006 the valves are almost silent. Much quieter with the Porsche adjusters.

Hi. I was wondering, since it's been 8-9 months since the last comment, any long running problems/delights since installation? Like holding valve clearances better/longer and/or lower valve clatter noise? I too have some VW engine experience and favor the Porche elephant feet adjusters with the ball clearanced rocker Thanks

Same here- awaiting long-term test results. Thanks!

Ran mine all summer (several K miles) with no problems. Once they wear in valve clearance hardly changes. I still get a bit of valve noise at low RPM's but I think a lot of that is due to the wide clearance spec on the cam I'm using. I keep wondering if a bit more oil would eliminate that.

Just finished the 3rd season on mine (8-10K approx.) and all is well. As mentioned, a couple checks/adjustments in the 1st few K while the parts bed in, then they seem to hold settings well.
