Here is a pm I got from spyder trying to make up for the crappy work he did. It was received on 1/15/05 over three years ago and I have not received anything from this guy. Repeated requests went un answered.
I wouldnt cancel a 50 doller check, that would run me 75 bucks in bank fees. I will send you a ebox, I have to make them first, I have orders for 5 of them including yours and I like to make them in one shot, I dont have them on a shelf. Larry`s right, the board is no place to start a pissing match. I apologise for getting Hotheaded. I should have eboxes done and shipped in the next week or so. Spyder

;D Just because the tubing is structurally sound at the time you make that design the design may make all that conjecture mute- pointless as with one tube theater is no strength for MCs. IE chopper frames are inherently dangerous at any time. With no cross supporting structurally supports........ think about it!, and with lighter tubes the right design can do a lot more than bigger tubes ever could. With chopper frames being of minimal design characteristics and designed by " What ever works" experiences, BIGGEST is best rule of thumb. engineering takes a BIGGEST EVER back seat to chopper designing in frames.
A solution is to get angularity into the design for better rigidity.

Cant find bw site, i was at one time going to purhcase a weld on ht from them, bad reviews led me to try and find one locally, i ended up hooking up with this guy a couple of miles from my house, who is an authorized kikker hardknock (125 and 250 hardtail bobbers) dealer, and interestingly enough has his own metal shop...i asked him about hardtailing my bike, and after looking things over we came up with some cool designs, while browsing 650motorcycles. i was showing his some sites like ardcore, and g&l, and he was extremely suprised by the price of the rear ends....any ways in about 2 months we will have quality weld on "kits" for around $75, Fully assemled hardtails for around $125, and can even hardtai frames sent in for around $150.00.....all prices dont include shipping....will post pictures soon...would anyone be interessted?

I would have been interested in that if I wasn't already having a frame built. what material are you guys using to make it so cheap?

So if a guy just wanted to buy the 1 1/4" tubing pre bent for a tail section, not welded together, for a build with a 200mm tire how much would that cost ( not shipped)? Thanks

The Pre bent tubing about, 1 1/4 od 1/8 in wall thickness, would run about 99.99 with 3/8 axel plates, also, we can do more than the standard shaped hardtail, for only a small price variance depending on the bends, and amount of tubing/plating..havent began production yet, have a few other projects and then we will get them knocked out, so soon, very soon
