I have a friend who has a small oven and PC gun, does little parts, who around here can do big parts like frames, etc.?

I, too, am looking to have my frame redone. I've got a couple places around me that will do it, but I've yet to look into it. Many other things before that on my to-do list for the bike.

hey bill, how's the 78' running? Yep, me too, as always got a list standing in line for my money, but somehow I manage to sqeeze it for the bike lol. Guess I'll look around locally and see what I can find, my buddy can do my small parts, but I need a frame powder coated soon.

It runs. Just order a new throttle cable last night to replace the one I broke. Thought about a few other things, but the parts started adding up and those things can wait unti spring. I'd like to not have it in parts during the end of the season.
What's your reason for getting the frame done? Rust, or just looking old? Mine is a little bit of both, but since the bike isn't worth that much in actual dollars, I need to watch how much I throw at it. Currently I'm trying to figure out how NOT to replace the entire muffler so I don't cough up $400.

I can do frames in my home based shop in Indy. The oven we constructed is large enough to do frames - no problem.
I also use old home ovens, they're cheap, easy to find and work well for smaller parts.

Cough up the $400? my mufflers only cost $17.95 each haha. not kiddin'. Yep...my frame is old and looking bad, not rusty, just battle scars in the origianal paint. I figured a powder coating would save it, but i need to re-work the rear end a little first, I'd like to have it wider, maybe run a 200....300 now I am kidding ;D earache, thank you, do you have a link, how much? I live in Fl so shipping would be considerable.

Let me know what you have to powder coat, and what color you want and I will get back to you on cost etc. 8'x10'x6' commercial oven, guns, any color possible but keep in mind, custom colors are more $$.
I am currently doing gun racks for the US military....nice satin black powder. SUPER durable.
