My '81 Tracker is done except for paint, but I need to find some classic looking racing numbers for the number plate. Any ideas where to look? I've checked alot of sites but no one has what I need.
Thanks,
Mike

Check out some of the ads in some bike racing magazines. MX, roadracing, or dirt track there are people that sell custom numbers. On a side note I don't really like putting numbers on street bikes. It seems to attract police interest and that something I don't need with my tracker. Greg

Go to any local sign shop that can make decals. You can choose any style of font, color and outline that is available. Thats what I did for my tracker. Black numbers with a yellow outline. Total cost was $20.00 for six 8" numbers.

Your right about the police being attracted. I was taking my tracker out on its maiden voyage when I stopped at a stop sign. I had to set there for a few minutes waiting as a parade passed by. I spyed a motorcyle cop setting just off the intersection and he evidently noticed me too. As I set there he started his bike and rode over to me and made a complete circle around my bike as if he was checking for something to nail me on. He then just rode away. Maybe he was just admiring my bike. Jeffery
