ok I've read all the posts and I was going to PowerCoat the following: * The two side engine covers * Valve covers * Handlebar Extenders * Front and Rear Fenders I was wondering if doing this would effect the performance and or seal of the parts. I also have a buddy who is doing it for nothing I just need to buy the coat any idea on how much I'll need?? Any advice would be helpfull! Thanks!

Powder coated is pretty heavy... besides a possible gasket issue.... I wonder if it would hold heat in...Heat paint for the juggs can be had..but the juggs need to be tank-cleaned..cleaned again...Mike, MN

Powdercoating will not increase heat to any noticeable degree. I powdered my Venture last winter and ran all year with no issues at all with heat. You do have to ensure that the gasketed surfaces are clear of any powder before putting it back together. But well worth the effort.
