I've got a pair of front turn signal brackets that I had to weld to repair cracks and now I'd like to get them chromed. I'd also like to re-chrome the stock exhaust if it's not too $$.
Anyone know of a good, cheap, fast shop where I can send parts for chroming? I called a couple of local sources and the only one that answered the phone had a 7 to 8 week wait and was very expensive. Thanks.

I'm in the Detroit area. Anyone know what I should expect to pay to chrome a 2" X 3" bracket?

Not much-maybe $10. Ask them how they do it and ask if any pits will show. Small parts tend to get lost too so check about that and how big a batch your part will be included in. Doing more than one part wil reduce your cost. I would think in the Motor City you would find tons of places that do this kind of work. Also ask at the bike shops who they'd recommend. You'll especially want to ask the Harley guys who get stuff chromed all the time. Shops that build wheels can also make a recommendation because they send rims out to be re-chromed.
