That's very impressive workmanship there and no doubt with the engine cases,alot of sweat and hours. Just one question,how long would ya say the side covers have before oxidation settles in or what steps are needed to keep the sides in fair condition longer. You'll definitely be doing mine,when the time arises  .........Jack

When ya get'em polished up like that what do you recommend to keep them that way? Clear coat of something else? Ride Safe. Derbytown

OK SEE IF I CAN ANSWER ALL YOUR ?'S POLISHED MY LOWER LEGS ON MY 750 1 1/2YRS AGOAND I LIVE IN COLD OHIO CEMENT BLOCK GARAGE THE BIKE IS KEPT IN THEY ARE STILL LOOKING GOOD HAVE WON BEST OF SHOW 3 SHOWS THE ONLY THING I DO IS RUB THEM DOWN WITH MOTHERS MAG POLISH AND A (CLEAN)BABYDIAPER AFTER I GET DONE WITH THE POLISH I SOFTLY RUB IT DOWN WITH FLOUR THIS REMOVES DRIED HAZE OF POLISH OK ican coat them but it will be a little more in price i use the same stuff that they coat Airstream trailers with TIME SPENT ON THE ENGINE CASES IS ABOUT 20 HOURS OFF AND ONPRICE FOR THEM IS 200.00 FOR UPPER AND LOWER AND THAT IS A 1/3 OF WHAT ALL OTHER POLISHING COMPS GET IVE CHECKED AND JEEPURZ HERE YOU GO img.photobucket.com/albums/v636/meanspirited/DCFN00031.jpg![]() [/img]

Great work and congratulations on putting your thing together. I hope you make a living at it. I'll be sending you some side covers. One question though, don't the brakes suffer in stopping power with the rotors polished? That sort of thing is for show-no-go isn't it?

just did outer brake surface to show my work but yeah theres no reason to do that because of getting scratched my price is for centers only unless thats what you want
