Seems to me that Aaron did his best, but alas his best was not good enough. we should be thankful that Aaron did start the original board and got us all together, Thanks Aaron but goodbye.
i just hope that sanity prevails and this boards keep going, thanks to all the guy's who are managing it.

Hi Tony,
Good to see you here and thanks for the kind words from both Bob_Dammit and myself..
I agree with you concerning Aaron Harwood, he had an excellent idea and it did bring a lot of good folks together. I really don't know what to say about the old board, as many of us made a serious effort to support it. Sadly, I think other interests took up a lot of Aaron's time, and after he sold off his XS-650, the board in general was of no actual use to him personally. I do believe however, that after repeated solicitation of funds from over something like 700 members, and numerious crashes, that many members felt he was into the board only as profit making cash cow. Seemingly when it became evident that the board wasn't generating the amount of revenue that would have flowed his way had all or the majority of the membership actually sent him 10 to 20 bucks each, then he stopped responding to emails and plea's for help with passwords etc..
Anyway, this temp board and the actual permament board/website when it comes on-line, is not a profit driven machine for either Bob_Dammit or myself..
I may try and sell some T-shirts and window stickers to try and generate a little cash for the hosting/software fee's. or we may need to ask for some support to cover those costs. However, when those costs are covered, we don't expect to keep rattling the collection plate every week.
Both myself and Bob own and love this old machines and enjoy the hell out of "hangin" with the great bunch whom we have rubbing shoulders with, blabbing about these XS-650s for close to a couple of years now.
Cheers mate, good to see ya here.
John
