Ok Guys, (and Lady) If you have sent me a picture for the Members Rides, please send me some info on the bikes you have sent. Simple info like year, model, modifications, owner name {Real or board name... only if you want credit} If the picture is a web find, or a scan from a magazine we should give some credit there as well. Any other information you would like to share will be added, and would be helpful! The easiest way to do this, will be to reply here. When your picture comes up, hold your mouse over the picture. DO NOT CLICK THE PIC! in a second or two, a info box will open with the word "Bike" and a number. Give me the Bike Number and your information. I will then modify the inforamtion, and edit your post stating it has been updated. Thanks for the pictures we have already recieved, and keep 'em comming! I will keep adding as long as you guys keep sending in the pics.

Hey Aaron, thanks for all your work to make the photo section more interesting, adding history and a personal connection to each bike. My bike number is 1.
This is an actual picture of my 1972 XS2 dated 2001. The bike is original except for the gas, battery and oil! I still have the original tires, chain, title, tool kit, points, you name it. I am the third owner. My brother found this near Lansing MI. The original owner kept it in a heated garage and it only had 3k on it. My brother put more miles on it than any body when he owned it. He took it out to Sturgis, SD (on a trailer) and it was "a show stopper" during Harley week. I am gradually going through all the needed maintenance to keep it straight stock. It runs and sounds great.

orygun, bike 24
Guess I should read this section more often.
The bike: 82 650 Heritage Special (factory blacked out version)
Purchased: winter 2001-2002 as a non running but all there bike pretty much used up by a college student, for $600.00.
Got it running and rode it that summer with lots of oil consumption (qt every thousand miles) Winter 2002: complete to the frame tear down including *painted frame *new clutch *new pistons *valve job *painted engine to factory specs *brakes gone through *wiring harness gone through and all connections cleaned or replaced *mucho polishing * numerous grommets, etc. replaced
Special thanks to Mikes XS who had all the parts at a reasonable price.
Total investment so far, purchase, parts and machine work, $1,800.00.
Since then: I ride it every chance I get, just about to turn over 20,000 miles. Last summer I added the MAC 2 into 2 exhaust, what a difference!
~~added... THanks for the Info!

I saw my name in the subject and went, like, uh-oh.... only pics i've got are of the ever-changing mock-up with wooden blocks and clamps. If you squint you'll get an idea where I'm headed. I'll hold off sending pics until it's further along...maybe finished in '07! Thanks for this place. Billster

No pics of my bike yet, but I'm hoping to get some and send them in soon.
I do have a 79 special that I had running up until 2 weeks ago. One of the oil seals blew on a ride to a British Bike Rally here in Austin.
