The "For Sale" board is being used on a test basis. If all goes well, it will remain a permanent function. There are several rules we all must adhere to in order for this board to succeed. Please read and understand the rules:
1) All For Sale posts will be reviewed and approved by a staff member before the post will be visible to all members. This is to prevent abuse of the board, and the members.
2) NO PROFESSIONALS! This board is for parts, not for services. This also includes made to order custom parts, one of a kind parts, etc. The purpose of this board is to help fellow xs650 owners out, not to pad your wallet. The PROS can post a link to their businesses on our LINKS section.
3) In order to have your post approved, you will need to be a member, in "good standing", with a minimum of 50 POSTS! and/or 3 MONTHS MEMBERSHIP , NO EXCEPTIONS, PLEASE DON'T ASK. This will help keep down the trolls.
4) There will be a limit of 8 items for sale on one post. Please list all pertinent information... the more the better. Include photos, documentation, etc. Properly present your sale items, describe their condition accurately.
5) For sale threads will be listed for a 2 week period. If your item(s) sell before the 2 week period is up, Modify the title of the main thread to show the items are sold, and a staff member will delete them. Every day ALL threads older than 14 days old will be deleted. If your item has not sold within the 14 day limit, feel free to resubmit it, once it has been deleted.
6) There will be a 1 thread limit per user. This means you will be limited to a maximum of 1 thread every 14 days. This is also set to keep everyone honest. Once again, this is not meant to be someones cash cow, but a way to help out the fellow xs650 owner.
7) No member may assign a value to parts they list.
8) Inquiries as to the value of specific machines or parts owned by the posting members will be regarded as solicitations of offers to buy and will be subject to the above listed sale board guide-lines and restrictions.
9) Members may request a PM, E-mail or Phone Number for
Members, listing information in the Parts Listing.
10)) No Member may list parts here and on E-Bay at the same time.
11) Parts for sale- is the only Forum where for sale parts may be listed
Lastly and most importantly:
The staff of the xs650 Garage USA, and ProBoards, make no claim to condition, accuracy and claims resulting from sales on our boards. By agreeing to the above terms you are hereby releasing all parties, not directly involved in the purchase or sale of said transaction, from liability due to losses incurred.
