Update on mounting the minis. I mounted the rear ones so far since I did a new cat eye tail light/ plate combo. The tail light plugged right in and works great. The mini signals however do nothing. I get a rapid clicking sound in the switch housing when I select a direction. For the ground, I unplugged the stock wire with the washer end from the factory connector on the back fender and then plugged the grounds from the minis where the factory grounds were and nada. ..they still look cool though. Any thoughts?

I have these minni's on mine, they have a bright halogen bulb. Now they have affordable LED's I want to install. I have these in carbine fiber www.jpcycles.com/productgroup.aspx?GID=113BE256-2005-4097-86ED-925B2A2188B4&search=CARbon%20fiber&store=All&page=11I mounted mine using a half inch piece of aluminum flat stock. I just drilled two holes in each piece and mounted the rears in the shock mounts and the fronts to the lower triple bolts. Mine are hard bolted on not using any rubber parts and have been working excellent for a year now. You can see how small they are in this pic.

thesefuggincarbs, just saw your post, never went to the next page. You may have to get a load equalizer, not sure what bulbs your running. I had to get a new flasher to make mine work. I bought a cheap $7.00 two prong flasher. I would go to the auto part store and pick one up and try that first. I have no idea why a 2 prong flasher worked but it did. Try plugging it in both ways on the 3 way prong plug untill it works. Usually you need load equalizers to make the flasher blink correctly again depending on what kind of bulbs or LED's you changed to. The the resistance changes in the bulbs it will not make the flasher unit work. I had to install one on both my bikes because I changed one LED's and the tracker to halogen. www.jpcycles.com/productgroup.aspx?GID=C06D8633-9946-4881-B408-532C2EC182D1&search=load%20equilizer&store=Metric&page=1

I like the looks of your side mounted tail light/tag mount. Can you tell me where you got it or did you make it. Is it axle mounted? Jeffery
