I recently purchased Part #10-1181 Red 19 LED Type 12V Tail light Bulb. Works best in taillight # 11-2300/01 (rearward facing socket). For my 1980 XS650G. The shank on the bulb isn't long enough. Looks like it will be a Christmas gift for someone next year.  Just a word to the wise. Cheers, Spock  |

This bulb fit my 79 special...but I first bought the other one, with the LED's facing to the side, too. This buld doesn't fit my bike's rear light socket (too short of a shank). The buld in your picture has a longer shank than the one with the side-facing LED included.

I bought the bulb with the sideward facing LEDs and had to swap the bullet connectors in the taillight to get it to work properly. Appears to be constructed backwards - cheap foreign junk  . Just a note to anyone who can't seem to get it to work. Doug |

I've got some that look very similar, but silver. They sometimes are a pain to put in. Gotta be just right, but they fit fine. Is it an 1157 with the staggered contacts?
