Hey Matt,
Your bike is looking good...I think we are all going to have the same turn signals on our machines though...Goran Persson from New Zealand turned me onto those same exact turn signals and I have to say they look great on both of you guys machines...
I think I'm going to end up with the same ones myself...I can't hardly stand to look at the droopy front signals on my SJ and have long wanted to get away from the long stemmed signal housings..
Can you tell me about the bulbs are used in the housings? Single element or dual? Bulb number? Wattage?
If it's not too much bother, please do pick me up one of the flashers units you are using...Just let me know where to send you the money....I had your address from the shirt list, but I've changed computers since that time frame and sadly lost a lot of addresses..
Thanks for the offer..I appreciate it..
John

Just to let everyone know what I ended up doing with these; I bought a set of new turn signals from Ebay. They came with new studs, but extremely short ones. I found a selection of "Lamp Rods" in the lighting section of Home Depot. They're threaded rods, up to 4" long and were sold in packs of two for ~$3 a pack.
The threading was odd, it didn't conform to either my metric or english thread guages, and I couldn't find a nut at Home Depot to match it. I ended up doing a lot of work with a tap and die set to thread the whole system to M10x125. A lot of work, but worth it in the end. These "Lamp Rods" are a cheap enough alternative for those needing replacements.
Best to all Pol
