Whats the best way to take this thing out of the system? All it does is turn you brights on when your headlight dies right?? Ive heard mention of its removal on the site, but couldnt find the specifics. Thanks in advance.

Hey Rod, I'm trying to bypass the reserve lighting, read the link and it says to connect the blue/black to blue/yellow to bypass, the new wiring harness I got from Mikes only has yellow, yellow/red/, blue, dgreen, blue/yellow & black any Ideas? Thanks

I'm assuming there is no harm in leaving the old plug there. I might trace the wires all the way back and take it entirely out of the harness to clean it up better if the plug doesn't need to be used any more.

i ended up cutting it off and wrapping all of the wires individually just so they don't make contact with anything.
