Hansen ,here's what I just posted on the other board.
"Yes, there HAS been many problems with this board.
The board will randomly go offline, for many days sometimes, only to come back online all screwed up. Some members have had to change their log in names and passwords to regain access after a crash. Some can't get on at all. Of those who's passwords were not effected, only a small percentage were able to regain access on the same address. I myself was contacted by another member with an alternate link which allowed access. All the while that this is going on, the owner of the site kept pounding the members to send him money in order to keep the site up. I sent money and only a few weeks later, another crash kept me offline for quite some time. The owner of the site has admitted that he does not own an xs650 any more and really doesn't have any interest in site. He has stated that he was doing people a favor by keeping the board alive but would need more cash if it were to continue. These types of scenerios have been going on for quite some time and most of the regular members, who have gone out of their way to do anything that they could to help support the board, including sending money, are totally fed up with it. Enough is enough and a new board was started by members who not only care about xs650's but also about the people involved with them. These people are dedicated to bringing you a site that is informative, fun, laid back and most importantly, reliable. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain by joining the other board. "
I just wanted some of the people who might not know what was going on with the other board to understand where we are coming from.
