I like the giant lizard, but he takes a lot of screen space (the upper third of mine). If he were removed, or replaced with a shorter picture, there's be "more XS650, less lizard".
Thanks for the new home, Tackett

Phooewy!
I like the big lizard....I like the Steel Lizard more....I like the Beeotch most.
Maybe we should have a mascot ...or maybe we could rotate pics of our bikes on the masthead......

At the risk of sound too logical how about picture of 3 xs650, in the center an original and on either side a chop and on the other side a cafe type. but the main pic. would be the stocker, an old one like an XS1. Under the pics. a slogan, something like, "XS650 Garage-dedicated to the preservation of the Yamaha XS650" Cheers, 50gary

I like the idea of rotating different images from time to time. I also like the metal lizard. Lets stay with a Japanese B movie theme as well. Greg

GODZILLA ON A GIANT XS650 PLOWING HIS WAY THROUGH TOKYO WITH SPARKS FLYING FROM THE HYDRO LINES AND GETS THE FRONT WHEEL STUCK IN BETWEEN TWO SKYSCRAPERS SO HE PUTS IT IN NUTRAL, JUMPS OFF, PUTS THE BIKE ON THE CENTER STAND, REV’S THE BIKE AND WITH A LOUD ROAR THE XS650 VIBRATES ITSELF LOOSE BLOWING ALL THE TANKS AND SOLDIERS AWAY AS IT MYSTERIOUSLY MOVES BACKWARDS. GODZILLA MOVES ON TO THE OUTSKIRTS WERE HE KNOWS THERE’S AN OPEN ROAD WIND IN THE FACE AND ANOTHER CITY TO RAMPAGE AT THE END OF A LONG DAY’S RIDE.
Sorry guys! Got carried away. Godzilla on a giant xs650.

hai Great idea Gary...However, let's use this in order to avoid legal issues with the Bikeguy.. The XS-650 Garage USA... I have the domain named registered as XS650GarageUSA.com and have XS-650 Garage USA registered as well.. Since I am developing the new web site, we can use either of these two and avoid any potential hassles.. Plus the NEW website that is currently underconstruction is called XS-650GarageUSA.com.. So it's only natural we use the name here until the new permanent site is brought online.. Here is a URL to where the opening home page is temp parked... NOTICE I said temp parked...I'm still looking at a few things and working on the site in general...There will some nice things featured there when it's finished that we all wanted on the old site, but sadly where our thoughts mostly fell on deaf ears.. www.mobeman.com/John/Johnsweb/index.htmRegards John
