Very nice indeed, but if you want this place to be a world wide community - please diminish USA emphasis.
But if you want to have your own national XS650 sandbox, please do. We already have our own here :-)

Jukka,
Thank you..
The XS650 Garage concept is a state of mind.
You have an XS650 Garage, I have one, everyone else here has one as well.....The "Garages" might be full blown, nicely equipped work shop, or a basement garage, even a wind blown tool shed, or in the living room of the house.
It makes no difference where you are from or where you live...
All XS650 fans are welcome in the XS650GarageUSA, which sort of makes it like the U.S.A. it's self...One big melting pot made up of people from all over the world and every walk of life...
Welcome and enjoy..
Regards
John

Thanks for comments. I am not that "edgy" person, I mean I won't abandon this site even if you'll be adding star spangled banner in every message I think my point of view is that if you want maximize the member count of this site you should present it as much as possible as a world wide community. Jukka BTW I think I would have never bought a 25 years old motorcycle if there weren't a world wide community for support (wisdom & parts).

Jukka,
I totally got what you were saying...
The beauty of the "WWW". MEANS world wide web....There will not be a shortage of members from all over the globe.
Like the quote from the movie "Field of Dreams"
"If you build it, they will come"
Besides, new site will be listed with as many search engines as I can afford ;D
Regards
John

Wellllllll now....Jukka`s got a very good point here, after all- this site -which is a cyber community- rose from the ashes of an international group of enthusiasts, and we do already represent a multi-national gathering.
I refuse to get into any political arguments here, on this board, so let`s NOT go there, OK? Now I understand that certain other nations are not , ah, how shall I say this?.....let`s say in-sync with Uncle Sam lately. But that has nothing to do with motorcycles......nothing at all....
So for the sake of the XS 650, and the membership, can we just get over the NAME of the forum ? It`s just a name, just a URL. `Tho it`s a different URL, it`s the same bunch of guys, and it DOES distinguish this site from the old [and very screwed up] one. And, hell, it`s based here in the States.
As ol`Wild Bill Shakespeare [think it was him - or some other old fart....] was fond of saying;
[glow=red,2,300] A rose by any other name would smell as sweet[/glow]......or some such freakin' nonsense!
I know you guys have registered the domain name, SO BE IT !!! .... As some of ya may have gathered I am decended from Jacobite and Hibernian roots, damned proud of it and never even pause to think that I reside in NEW ENGLAND. A name means nothing.....so as was said by one of ya on the ol` forum-let`s leave the politics out.
Let`s keep it light.........my 2 cents.....
WWIII

Hey WmWallace... you been hitting the expresso bars again? ? ? lol
The name was to keep with the idea of the xs650Garage, and Aaron has that name copyrighted. When John had the shirts made up last year, he copyrighted the logo (see his avatar) and the name xs650GarageUSA. This was not meant as an insult to the global users, but as we were trying to turn this concept into a functioning website, it made sense to go with what what we had (ie: the name and logo) We welcome all people from all over the world and do not wish to offend anyone, so that is the reason what was done was done.
