I've been trying to get on here for over three weeks now. I get registered okay, but never receive an activation code. I have repeatedly clicked to have a new code sent and even totally re-registered. Still no code via email. I have Verizon email and have no problems with it. Spam filter is turned off. I checked the spam folder anyway but the activation code is not being redirected there.
Should I send you my email address so that you can activate me manually?

Loren, there have been a couple users who have had problems with Verizon. Some have had no problems at all. I would suggest opening up a yahoo account (just for this board) and trying it one more time. Let me know if this helps.

Hi Bob,
First of all, this is the best site for our beloved XS650s.
I tried about 8 times to login this morning with my correct name and password. Finally I was able to get in. Just wanted to let you know about the problem.

Phil...Depending on your email program, it may be set to filter emails from unknown sources..
Reset your email programs spam/filtering and tell it to accept Proboards email..If that works, and you do get your authorization..Once you are done, merely set your email back to the previous settings you were using.
Or get a free Yahoo email address and use that for board activity.
Either way, you may find the email Proboards has sent with your authorization info, where it was deleted as spam, If that is the case, you may now have to re register with a slightly altered username..

Checked all spam filters with no luck. Not using AOL. Help please.

Addition info - I've tried several times to activate with my work address (visi) and once or twice with a Comcast address. The visi account does not automatically delete spam, but gives me a daily quarantine report. The activation code never reaches the account.
I'd rather not set up a yahoo account just for this reason. Please Help.

Yes that is correct. It is actually operated by VISI.

Ok, I am going to change your emails to my account to see if I get an activation notice. If I get it, it is a problem on your end, not proboards. If I dont get the message, I will have to take it to proboards. Ill get back to you on it tomorrow.

updating... I changed both of your email addresses to one of my email addresses, and the activation emails came in under 2 minutes. I logged in as both of you, and activated your accounts, and re-set your emails to the ones you gave. This should "trick" the system into sending a change of email address email to you. Let me know if you get it.

I did not get a message, nor is there a spam report. I wonder where the hangup is. Maybe Proboards has been black listed everywhere. I have proboards.com and proboards29.com set up as 'friendlies' in my spam filter, but still no message. If you want Viagra, Cialis or a Rolex knockoff, I might be able to help you out.
Can you send me an e-mail directly?
Since you activated my account, I get a UN/PW mismatch error.

I did not get an email. It did not show up in either my inbox or as spam. I do get emails from other proboards forums if that helps.
