Crap! I knew I shouldn't have moved from Rochester!

Well, who knows, maybe by this summer I'll have my bike unFrankensteined by whoever got ahold of it before me. Then I just have to convince myself that half of the country isn't too far to ride. My helmet is due for some mosquito-squash payback for all the years that I lived in the upper midwest. (they don't seem to make many mosquitos at all in the mountains)

Dang, if I only knew there were so many XSers out there when I lived there!

I was at the Wildcat Mountain Rally in Westby last year, and had a wonderful time with some great people. I'll be going again this year, and promise to bring a 650 (maybe even two) this time!

From what I've been told from the locals here and the Cheeeeeslanders (Wisconsin) the theme for Wildcat is to have as many of the old twins as possible. I believe last year we only had 10. If all the lies come true we should have the first 5 model years on site and and several nice Specials. Mark T in River Falls, Wic has a 71 that's a beauty....also a 72 is almost ready...freash paint..stunning....and a cherry 77 Standard. Also we have a couple of guys who took a different path.....a FJ Yamaha (4 banger) with a twin stuffed in it..a FZ with a twin stuffed in it. NEAT. I'm attemping to get them to attend. Mike, MN
