Amen Motormike! About the electrical issue I had on Saturday, turns out that when the connection from the tci box to the wiring harness gets full of water, the ignition quits advancing and the bike won't run for crap past 2k. Thank god for electrical tape and dielectric grease! This year's rally was awesome! Great people, great bikes, great times  |

FYI Guys.. Wild Cat is this labor day weekend. 650's still make the scene.. several rides offered at different skill levels each day.. great roads, awards at the sunday dinner, BS in the motel park'n lot. |

.. another Cat in the book. Only a bit over 30 riders this year. Great roads. Good food. One rider crashed.. hard..in the hospital..  A new director has step'd up. Visit the Wildcatrally web. |

Another WildCat in the books.. visit Wisconsin wildcat motorcycle rally f/book for more details and photos. I know the event has been drop'd by the old 650 Yamaha Society.... based mostly on a personality conflict between the old director and the then event leader. There was nothing that happened at Wild Cat that didn't happen at other Society events that I attend'd. The new guy at the Society.. who seems nice enough.. just continued with deleting WildCat without even determining the "issues" for himself. So.. bummer.. the Society left me.. I didn't left the Society.
This year was great.. many new faces and good to see the old ones. This year was the first for a new director.. a younger fellow. Only 2 Xs650's... I admit.. I was on a old Goose...think 35 riders... besides great roads... lunch with several 100 Harley riders.... " Rockton Chicken "... great pizza ad ice cream " Goose Barn "... we also discovered the local.. " Amish Walmart "...
