Hi Folks, here are some ring compressors I've made for various engines over the years. The smallest are for STIHL chainsaw motor and the pair with nut and bolts for the XS800 motor. Don't have the same chamfer or 'lead' on the overbore engine so its more difficult to assemble Make them out of whatever is lying around, the narrow one is stainless steel banding, only wide enough for two ring two stroke engine. The black and yellow was a scrap temporary roadsign, just cut a band about 1" wide, formed around piston (de-burr it first) and bend up a couple of tabs to hold with pliers. All material is about 0.040" thick having issue with either image shack or sprint, so I'll post rest of pics later

I have used a hose clamp that is the proper size. Take a side cutter and bend a few outward notches on the bottom of the hose clamp so it will not slide into the bore with the rings. Rod
