These are some really cool bikes. The only problem I see is if we start building them in the states what are we going to call them. I don't think the name "Bratt Bikes" will go over here.
The neat thing is they are are a cross between alot of differen't style bikes.
If you had one that looked like a chopper and a tracker I guess you could call it a chocker or a trapper!
Or if you had one that looked like a cafe and a tracker it could be a cacker or a trafe!

These basic designs go back a long way................if anybody remembers Dave Mann from Easyriders Magazine should know some of Dave's very early paintings should recognise the style. Just my 2 cents worth

UB12, i agree this is not a new look but i can't say that i have ever seen one of these styles on the road at least since i was a teenager. and i have never seen a mann drawing that had a japanese bike in it. i just like that these oriental guys are bringing a cool look back and using any bike they can get their hands on. i would like to move there and ride with these boys cause i love oriental food and these bikes. what more could you ask for. but anyway i do like marks name ideas trapper and trafe sounds pretty cool. they are just bikes and there building these things with custom parts they are building themselves and riding the piss out of these things- who gives a rip if they remind you of a david mann painting i think david mann would have thought these things are killer at least they aren't some show piece trailered billet bomber. to each their own, i just thought some of the guys on this board would like to see these things if they had not seen anything like this they are another route to go besides whats out there right now.

trebchopper It's good to hear from someone who remembers those early designs (classics). You possibly won't see any Mann designs with other bikes other than a Harley because he passed away in September 2004. My point is that someone has resurrected the design from a by-gone era and regardless of what is being currently used now it's just good to see an old style come back. I've used Dave Mann as an example because anybody who lives outside of the USA back in the 70's only had such things as Easyriders to see what was happening in the custom/chopper two wheels world. Personally I like to see some other bikes that has been modified or chopped just to show an expansion and creativity of design and thought as to what to do with what you've got. Judging by the photos you've posted I think we're in for some very nice eye candy.

Bike #3 - Check out that sprocket!!! With a Sport motor no less. Can you say straight up? I knew you could. Very neat bikes built with some individuality and imagination. I'd take any of them. Job well done to the builders. - Jim

Can you mount those tires on stock rims? What do they handle like?

These guys know custom in my opinion. The creativity is inspiring. Most of the chopper shops in US builds same looking bikes...
