just bought it, always loved the japanese triumph resto project but want to lenghten it and fatten the rear end
anybody been involved in beefing up rear ends on these? where to get offset sprockets? how far can i go without needing a jack shaft 180 /200 section tire
any advise appprecaitted

I like the jack shaft approach.... looks totally sweet in my opinion.... 650motorcyes.com has a bike.... listed as erics chopper.... you might want to try and email him... i think he wen with a 240.. but i dont remember. gl and love to see some pics

I'm just guessing that this configuration would not be OSHA approved!! LOL I really like this bike, but I wish he had polished the engine instead of painting. I think this bike would have looked awesome with more sparkle.

Another plus to the jackshaft is that it helps reduce the dreaded chain slap you get when you lengthen the wheelbase. The final drive chain is'nt so long.
