drilling jets is very common in the atv world and especially banshees when converting to alcohol because they dont make jets big enough. They make more power than most xs's could ever dream of so it must work fine. my bolt on banshee makes as much power as my 650 with 300 less cc's. Not exactly. Alcohol runs such large jet sizes that a minor error is not as significant as with a gas jet and Alcohol runs fine even when it's very rich. So there's really no way to extrapolate a Banshee jet drilling experience on a 4 stroke.

EBay micro drill sets, metric make things a lot easier. I've had better luck getting them from Britain (even though cost and shipping is higher) I believe alcohol burners use around 9:1 instead of 14.7:1 air fuel ratio's? Old style Banshee (the 'real one' - two stroke) with a 500cc conversion, still air cooled, getting way over 100bhp (racer, wouldn't say exact numbers)
